The Matilda of Canossa and Tuscany International Association is a cultural, democratic, non-profit organization that brings together scholars, enthusiasts, fans, other organizations, and simply people interested in the research, in the wider knowledge of the figure of Matilda of Canossa and Tuscany, in the issues connected to her historical and geographical context as well as in the meaning her personality has assumed in the course of history,  when, her being a Medieval woman,  has been subjected to various connotations, and her influence has been studied in various fields: historical, political, artistic, literary, musical, without forgetting her presence in popular culture, and in every other form of human activity.

Come si organizza?

Con un’Assemblea degli iscritti che si riunisce almeno una volta all’anno, ed elegge un Direttivo, che a sua volta nomina il Presidente e le altre cariche statutarie. Sono previste le seguenti forme di adesione: Soci Fondatori; Soci Ordinari gli aderenti che si iscriveranno all’Associazione, dietro presentazione di due membri e il versamento della quota annuale; Soci Aggregati: i rappresentanti degli Enti pubblici, Istituti culturali e Associazioni che aderiscono all’Associazione, condividendone gli obiettivi e promuovendone le iniziative; Soci Onorari, scelti dall’Assemblea per i loro meriti nel campo delle finalità dell’Associazione: Soci Sostenitori che si impegneranno a sostenere l’AMI-MIA nelle sue attività.
